This easily adjustable & swivel table arrived today as scheduled. It was triple boxed which is a good thing as the outside box was damaged but the inner box the table was safely secured in was fine. It took 2 of us about 15 minutes to put it together., 1 person could do the job. The directions are printed inside the inner box. I am very pleased with this table, it fits in at the end of my sofa over the large stuffed arms. The table top extends an additional 4” from the arm of the sofa and the base extends about 5” from the end of the sofa. The heavy base will keep it standing whenever my grandogs visit. Overpriced? Yes, but you’re getting a real piece of black walnut and all the hardware is first class. The table rotates as well as tilts. It’s fairly small so as not to get in the way. I LOVE this table! Not only is it beautifully engineered, but the wood is smooth as butter. Every point of this table says quality. The base is heavy and thin, making it stable and low profile. The thin base enables it to tuck nicely under anywhere, reducing tripping hazards and unsightly, bulky bases. The table can be raised or lowered to the desired height, simply hand tighten the telescoping pole-see pic. The table will expand to about 32.5 inches from the underside of the table (clearance matters). The table itself measures 9.2 x 11.5 and was approximately .6" thick. It has a beautiful walnut wood tone and smooth finish that goes great with my décor. The assembly was the easiest ever! Simply fit the pole into the base and screw in the 4 screws with the hex key provided, done-see pic! The table tilts forward and back and swivels 360 degrees, convenient for lap use and push away to get up. The table comes with a metal plate that you can add or remove to secure articles on a tilted table. It's held on by a slot on the underside and an internal magnet that you can't see. No nails, no glue, no screws and it's solidly secure! Beautiful engineering! There's absolutely NOTHING not to love about this table. If you're on the fence, stop pondering and get this one!!
