Gave this to my 3 year old grandson for Christmas. Much to the dismay of his parents, these little microphones worked as soon as they and the box were turned-on. They really put out a lot of sound, and has a voice changer function that will get old really fast. Next best thing to a drum set! I purchased this portable karaoke machine for my niece for her 11th birthday. Their family loves to go camping and I thought this would be a fun addition to their camper. It’s very small so it does not take up much space and it comes with two microphones so They can sing duets with their friends. My nieces and nephews loved it immediately out of the box, and especially loved the fact that the machine lit up. It is not very large, nor is it super loud, but just perfect for young kids putting on a show. I believe my niece was able to somehow connect the phone and run the music through the karaoke machine in order to put on her concert for us. She and her siblings loved this product right out of the box. My sister-in-law asked me why I hated them.😜 I think that they are going to have a lot of fun with it this summer, especially if they save it to make it a special camping product. The sound quality was acceptable, they’re not perfect, but that was not the point of this gift. I bought this for my 5-year-old nephew and immediately became his favorite relative (sorry, everyone else). The different voice effects are pure comedy gold.
