Perfect For Pregnancy

Really focuses on relaxation and breathing. The moves are very simple! The video is definitely good for beginners-like the title says. Read more

The yoga

I enjoyed it, it is very relaxing. I felt a little silly when I first started, I had never done yoga before, but again it is very relaxing. Read more

Differnent but good

I have only tried one yoga pregnancy video so I can't really rate this based on others, but I would say it is a good yoga workout. I am used to doing beginners yoga with the traditional poses, so this is really really easy stuff. I was a little bored at first but it doesn't focus on 20 different poses as much as it focues on breathing, relaxation, and meditation. I really found it was a good way to unwind after a crazy day and refocus on my baby. Some of the poses are for birthing purposes too, so I found joy in that as well as I prepare for my delivery. Overall I would say it is a basic video for the first time yoga student. If you do yoga already before pregnancy you may be bored with this. Read more

Boring if you've EVER done yoga before

I've done yoga off and on over the past few years, but would not consider myself advanced in any way. I mostly practice at home every few months with a dvd. I thought this would be a good relaxation method during pregnancy, but found myself bored stiff and had to stop doing to dvd halfway through. I much preferred: Yoga for Pregnancy, Labor and Birth with Colette Crawford or Element: Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga. Both of which are VERY easy for beginners but seemed both more engaging (I felt stretched and more flexible afterwards) as well as more relaxing, since I wasn't looking at the clock every 10 seconds wondering when it would be over. Disappointed

This tape is terrible!!! It's basically a computer generated voice over that just talks while this lady does the moves. Totally a disappointment. I was new to yoga. The moves did not feel right for being six months pregnant. Do not recommend!! Read more

Simple and Effective

I normally do simple yoga at home since I've never really been in front of an instructor. This video is great for anyone starting out during their pregnancy. It goes through a lot of stretches and targets some key muscles in preparation for birth. I've enjoyed the video and I would recommend it to anyone who is not too familiar with yoga just yet. If you have prior experience, you'll find it kind of slow and not too challenging. Read more

Nice Stretch

This was a great "yoga" experience. Not only am I pregnant, I have RA so I was worried if I could handle the moves. I handled them all but table top due to the RA in my wrists. In case you're interested, instead of using my arms to reach tabletop I sat up against my couch and used my shoulders/back to raise and lower my hips. Worked great! Read more

Ordered this for my wife. She said the yoga session was good, however she would prefer a menu with options where you can find seperate posses instead of just straight through sessions. 3 Stars! Read more
