Nice to keep yoga mat strapped up and for transportation
I needed a strap because I wanted to easily be able to take it to the gym without my mat unraveling. It does the job nicely! Plus the middle strap is nice because otherwise I think it might start unraveling if you only had the outer strap. It's also a lot nicer for storage because my mat would always start unraveling in my closet and it would be really annoying. But now it stays in place.
