I bought this because I have a battery on my generator that has been dead for about a year. I used the repair mode and after approximately 6 hours, the battery has a full charge and is holding the charge. It is compact and very easy to use Read more

My 6-year-old Audi Q5 can start OK, because it has a strong starter (has auto start/off) but because of it's low state of charge, that function no longer works. I bought a trickle charger before this one which charged well on a 2019 Corolla that's being driven very little and infrequent but not on my 2018 Audi Q5. That other trickle charger charged my battery from 11.7 to 11.9V. I bought this charger due to it has a separate mode for AGM and Repair because my Audi battery is AGM. FYI, manual says you need to wait at least an hour from the last usage of your battery. So, I first charged it in the AGM mode and the display went from 50% to 100% in only 10 minutes but the voltage only improved to 12V. Yesterday I put it on repair mode, and it took 8 hours to show full. I did not wait for it to turn off by itself. The battery now has improved from 12V to 12.55V; from 50% to 80% capacity on a 6-year-old large AGM battery. I did not bother to remove the power cords due to my bad back and the battery is situated in the trunk all the way behind the backseat. Luckily it does not appear to cause any damage to my car. During the repair mode, I monitored the battery temperature with my laser thermometer; the charger nor the battery did not get warm and stayed in the low 70's. PROS: 1) Has separate AGM and Motorcycle and repair mode. 2) Great LCD lighted display will show the battery level when you hook it up even before you plug in the power cord. It will also show charger temperature, charging current & status, battery voltage & etc. 3) Smart charger has a built-in fan to stay cool and it will alter the charging power with respect to the battery status. It will start out slow and rarely goes to the full 10A, then it will decrease the power when you reached half full then even lower at 75%. Even when it's @100% charged, it will trickle charge to the max then turn itself off (fan off but light still on) and display OFF. 4) Great repair mode that reconditioned my 6 year old AGM battery from 50% to 80% capacity. 5) Very good price; I paid $24 shipped. CONS: 1) Very short cord, you will need an extension cord. But it's no big deal. 2) Per owner's manual, in Motorcycle mode, it will charge battery to full then turn off and turn back on when voltage drops below 12.5V. But does that mean you cannot maintain your battery in the other modes? It also states not to leave the charger unattended over 12 hours. Therefore, I don't think this is a battery maintainer which is fine for me. ................................................................ With this battery charger, I can charge my batteries before and after I go on a vacation and let not my batteries charge level go down too low thus prolongs the life of my batteries. I only had it for a week and so far, I am very happy about this product. I will update if the charger quit or have some problems. Read more

I had a vehicle sitting for a few months and when I went to unlock and start it I couldn't even open the doors due to a completely dead battery. I was able to use my key to get it open and tried jumpers to get it going but wasn't able to turn over. I then went in search of a charger that could recharge my battery and get my car back on the road. In the searching process, I learned that chargers will not charge a completely dead battery and that it's best to find one that had a "repair" function. After finding a few and carefully sifting thru feedbacks I decided on this unit. Mostly because of the versatility of battery types but also for the "repair" feature. I received the unit the next day and decided to try to charge the battery first. It immediately showed full and shut off. I knew this wasn't the case and figured it was because of the completely dead battery so I flipped it to "repair and let it run about 18 hours til it showed done. I then switched it to charge and it was showing about 60% charge so I left it to charge for a few hours. Once it showed done, I left it on charge and let it go this time for just under 2 hours til it showed done. I put it back in the car the next day and it started right up. I let it run a bit and shut it down. I started it again the next day and same result. Started right up. Needless to say I am very happy with the results this product achieved. The price was very affordable. This was done on a 12 volt "flooded" or "wet" type battery in very cold winter weather (teens) over 3 days. Make sure you are positive what type of battery you have or you may not achieve expected results. Definitely recommend! Read more

I bought this just to see if something this small actually works. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. I have used it several times now to charge car and lawnmower batteries. The repair mode helped to revive a three year old battery. The only criticism is that the mode light is very difficult to see in daylight. Definitely worth the money! Read more

I got this charger to revive a battery that was completely dead. It took about a day and a half to charge it back to full capacity, but it worked great. It will automatically charge and shut off when done. The indicator display shows the progress along the way. Nice charger, Nice Price. Read more

As a single mother who isn’t great with car repairs, I constantly need to find ways to save money, especially since I often can’t afford costly shop visits. This YONHAN Battery Charger has been a game changer for my older vehicles since early this year. It’s affordable, easy to use, and has already saved me a lot of money by reviving weak batteries at home. I like that it has clear instructions and easy-to-read screen, which shows all the essential information during charging—perfect for someone like me who’s not mechanically inclined. I actually own a more expensive charger, but I find myself reaching for this one more often because of the information on the screen. It's made in plastic material so I did not have any expectation at first but it has been durable since. It has a blower to cool off the charger but to be safe I charge my car batteries under a shade. This is portable enough and does not come with a pouch. For the price, I don't expect bells and whistles but this has proven it's value. While my pricier charger works a bit faster, this YONHAN model is ideal if you’re not in a rush and needs a budget-friendly option. It’s a smart investment for anyone, especially parents or individuals on a budget, who want to extend the life of their car batteries without relying on costly repairs. Read more
