They’re very soft and the lining is very thin but extremely effective at preventing moisture from getting down to the mattress, so there’s no crinkling or stiffness with the cover. It fits just like a fitted sheet and goes on nice and smooth. Washes just fine in a normal wash cycle which is a relief.
