My old lighted address fixture was 25 yrs. old. I had removed it prior to repainting my house exterior. It cracked during re-installation, so I found this to replace it. It is longer than my original (11.5" vs. 10"). Installs easily and the mounting holes even lined up with the old original unit. The low voltage wires are easy to attach by just sliding into built-in clip. The white opaque top where the numbers are glued just snaps onto the black base. Be careful gluing the numbers. A line of small drops along the length of the number goes a long way. They supply 2 small tubes of super-glue. I only used 1 tube for 4 numbers. If you saturate the numbers with glue, it will squeeze out when the number is applied to the white surface and melt/deform/etch the white plastic. It sets very fast, so pre-stage the position of the numbers so you know exactly where the final location would stick. It helps to mark their positions by tracing the numbers on the white surface. These are pretty standard issue on homes here in Las Vegas. My house is almost 20 years old and my lighted address sign faces south into the restless sunshine with the original unit finally crumbling apart. As others have noted, the supplied glue has no forgiveness. Once glued in place it instantly sets. Be extremely careful in how you lined up the digits. My method was to used blue painters tape and hinge the individual numbers, dab the glue and then carefully put into place. Read more

Bought this to replace the exact thing on my 15 year old house. Just needed the housing for now so a perfect fit was important and this was right on. Applying the numbers was my biggest challenge. I wish a grid was supplied. The adhesive for the numbers is by far the best instant glue that I have ever used. Be prepared for immediate adhesion. You can slide a long, thin blade under the number to release it, but you can pull away some of the plastic cover so be careful. There are plenty of numbers so you will have extras. When I bought my first house the hoa sent me a letter because the previous neighbors put in one too small. Believe it or not these things weren’t easy to find. Ordered this one and it fit fine. It was easy to install as well. The quality is okay. After a year or so it turned yellowish. The numbers were also curling off. We lived in Las Vegas so I’m sure the heat did that. This house number plate is the perfect replacement for my existing one. I actually could have just exchanged the cover and been done with it, however, I removed the old one completely and replaced the entire unit. I am really happy I found this item and it was so easy to install. Read more

Not worth the low price. The piece holding the lights immediately came off and the lights are burned out after less than a month. I understand why the previous owner didn't even bother replacing her lighted address. This product is maybe one of my most hated items I have ever dealt with. Read more

These house number signs are ubiquitous in the Las Vegas valley. I tried to change the bulbs in my 20+ year old number sign and dropped the cover, breaking it. I bought this as a replacement. I left the original base attached to the house, and used the included bulbs from this kit, along with the new cover and included numbers and super glue to repair my unit. Caution: the super glue sets instantly. Align your numbers and place carefully, because you only get one chance. If it's crooked when you place it, it will stay crooked forever. Read more

Works as advertised and fairly easy to install. The kit comes with plenty of numbers. The drawback in my opinion is that the bulbs emit very little light which can be hard to see when assembled and mounted. This would be perfect if the bulbs were LED and the option for white light vs. natural light. Read more
