Had Trouble Connecting Microphone But Perfect After That
This was the third pair of headphones with microphone that I tried for my 10 year old who is a PC gamer. While it was annoying to discover that nothing was likely wrong with the other pairs of headphones, I’m actually very glad that we ended up with this pair. I still don’t know exactly why the microphone wouldn’t work, when the headphones paired right away, but I knew it had to be an issue with the PC, because it’s unlikely that THREE new headphones of different brands all had broken mics. I did all the troubleshooting for Windows settings, and finally just ended up restarting the PC, then restarting it again, and suddenly, the microphone connected. It connected right away when I thought about trying it on my laptop, which I hadn’t thought of with the other two pairs, so it was something with that particular PC. Now that they are working, they’re perfect. My 10 year old has an adult sized head and finds them very comfortable, especially the shape of the part over the ears. When I put them on to help him, they were fine for me, too. The sound is nice and clear on the headset and through the mic. And it definitely blocks a lot of noise, because he can’t hear me calling his name anymore lol. They look nicer and feel sturdier than the other two brands, despite being lightweight and $5-10 less expensive. The purple lights are a very attractive design, the dark color is my son’s favorite. I’m very pleased with this purchase and glad we ended up with this pair. These are definitely worth the money. Read more
