Funny that this review will pop up under my husbands name. Oh well. These work really well. Please note that these are not like thinx. Thinx advertises that you can wear them without other forms of protection and they hold a lot of fluid. These are just good for back up. Wear your tampon/pads/cups just like you normally do. What this does is takes the worry out of inevitable leaks. I went to visit family and was nervous that the guest bedroom had white sheets on. I woke up and had a leak but none escaped. It all stayed safely in the underwear. I also had a malfunction with my cup one day and had decided to go without my pad. I was super nervous but when I got home no blood had escaped. It doesn’t really absorb so it wasn’t really comfortable but none got on my clothes. I have to do my laundry once a week at a laundromat so I rinse them out every day as I change them because it’s easier that way. I get it mostly out and then I throw them in the wash in a delicates bag because you CANNOT dry them so putting them in the bag makes it easy to pull them out before throwing the rest of the load in the dryer. Then just hang dry. They have a plastic like barrier in the underwear that prevents them from leaking. This will melt and mess up if you try to dry them in the dryer. I haven’t noticed any sound from them. Sizing- I was nervous because Chinese sizing is always different. Last thing I ordered from a Chinese company the size was so much different. But I went by the sizing chart and bought a size larger just in case and it was too big so I returned and bought the correct size per chart and it was perfect. But according to the chart. The piece of cloth that goes between your legs is wider than normal underwear. Which makes pads a little more difficult for the wings to wrap around. It works but it is a tighter wrap. And if you have wider hips and legs (I’m more mid heavy) it might feel tight around the legs. I had bought the jacard pattern before and they work just as well but wear very hot. These mesh ones breathe more and are more comfortable. Read more

I am SO glad I did. Yes, I do wear a tampon with them when I’m out of the house for heavier days, but they last me all day, and towards the middle of the week I can even wear them without a tampon. No liner/pad needed, even on the first day, if I change the tampon every 3 hours (which I do anyway). And that’s from someone with average-heavy flow, having just come off the pill for the first time in 7 years I wasn’t sure what to anticipate, but it is so much rougher than I expected during my time now. These honestly have been partly the reason I haven’t gone back on bc, and have made my life way easier. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a pad again. The best thing?? NO AWFUL PAD AT NIGHT! That was the WORST part of periods before for me, as the adhesive would always get stuck to my hair/skin by the morning. And it would always slip anyway. With these, if you buy the right size, you have COMPLETE COVERAGE, you are sealed up, all night, with no chance of sticky pain come morning. Seriously, these are lifesavers. Of course, if you have a super heavy flow during the night, maybe this wouldn’t work for you w/o pads. But I’d say mine is average to high at night, and i have no issue of leaking. Cleaning: I’ve had them a few months, and these at least for me are just fine on hot water in the washing machine and even dryer, though they dry super quick so I would just air dry them. Definitely rinse out in the sink first before the machine though, actually i rinse out in the sink immediately after I change them out. Smell: I haven’t noticed a heavy smell with these. But like I said, i also use tampons on heavy days. Noise: a bit noisy at night, but not noticeably so. During the day, noise isn’t a problem for me at all. Sizing: I’m 5’8, 37-26-39.5, bought size 7 and 8. 8 are for sleeping, 7 for during the day. They do come up almost to my belly button, but for me that’s fine because I always wear high waisted bottoms (also I think they or a similar brand have ones that are low cut). Honestly the 8 are HUGE, which is fine for nighttime. But the 7’s are also a tad loose, could’ve gone with 6, but it does leave room for any shrinkage, or lets be honest, “growth-age” on my end, lol. I wouldn’t say they run large, just buy your normal size or if unsure, size up one. Read more

My feminist daughters told me that menstrual cups and period panties are the future. Really, they are! The mesh is awesome, very cool and comfortable. The lining is very thin and barely noticeable. The construction is good quality. They do run a little small. I usually wear a 9, so I ordered the size 10. They fit great. Like giant granny panties, but nice fitting granny panties. I wear these with a menstrual cup for leaks. On light days, and spotting, they work great alone. The panties come in a nice zippered plastic bag that I kept to carry a spare pair in my purse(and then stash the used pair) so I can change mid day. The panties absorb and don't feel that wet, barely noticeable, but its nice to change too. Also work great for mild incontenence that happens to the best of us, sometimes. They wash and dry great. No staining. I actually paid full price and came back for a second set. I didn't get a discount and still came on here to say these things are great! Read more

Once I got the right size, I found these fit comfortably, are lightweight in terms of the thickness of the fabric, and affordable. Since these need to line-dry, and odds are one pair might not last a full day, it helps to have several. Size was tricky. I ended up going up 2 numeric sizes from my usual size in Jockey for her cotton undies. I wish I'd had a better sense of what size to get in order to avoid returns. These are full coverage granny panties, but there's a sense of security in that, given their purpose. I haven't tried these in hot weather in the south, and I'm somewhat concerned they'll feel plasticky in 90+ degree heat and humidity. The mesh should help remedy that. I hope. Read more

They are comfortable but they are not great at preventing leaking if you go through a pad or the pad shifts. Do not recommend Read more
