I put mine on the wall in my garage as an accent wall halfway up to cover the drywall so when you open your car door it bumps against soft carpet pads. Not every single one of these squares is identical in size so you have to stretch a little bit and place them carefully. They are super adhesive when you remove them you will remove paint and possibly drywall. So they are going up to stay. Great tiles , I only gave 4 stars because the backing is soooooo hard to take off. But if you use a scrap of one tile and manage to take the backing off, you can use the sticky side of one tile to take the backing off of another tile….. it sounds dumb, but it saved me like 30 minutes when I figured that out. I ordered these carpet tiles because my dog is scared to walk on the kitchen floor. I had to put towels down so he could walk on the floor. It looked messy and me and my family would trip in the towels. Then I came up with a perfect solution, carpet squares ! They were very easy to install. I had to remove a tile to rearrange it and it didn't leave any residue behind. The tile had the same quality of adhesive, as if I never removed it. It was easy to cut size and it was a clean cut. The 2nd picture, the one without the garbage can in it, has the tile I had to cut. They are a little thin, but I wanted a smooth transition to the carpet, and it worked out perfectly. Got these to finish a furnace room after we had to put in a new furnace and hot water heater. Wanted to cover the cement floor. They work well, but I ran short so ordered another packet only to get a slightly different color. Had to go with it, as I wasn’t going to rip everything up that I’d already put in. Be careful with this one, order more than you need and return what you don’t use in order to make sure that you get the same color a lot. Of course I’m assuming you’ll get the same color a lot if you do that no way to tell. Read more
