This is a very nice fountain pen. The pen has a good weight, but it isn’t heavy or cumbersome. In fact, it’s very comfortable to hold and use for extended lengths of time. The nib is medium, but I prefer a fine tip because my writing is bold and large. A fine nib just presents my writing style better, but this one is a good quality. The ink flow is good, and I’ve not had any issue with skipping or uneven inking. I probably wouldn't choose it at this pricepoint, but for the unique design, it would make a cool gift for anyone who appreciates writing with a fountain pen. Read more

This fountain pen is absolutely elegant in every way. I ordered it to gift a colleague of mine and they love it. It came in a nice box and you can tell the quality is top notch. It has some weight to it, but is still lightweight enough to be comfortable and hold for long periods of time. They love the way it writes, its beautiful and feels so smooth when writing. Its definitely gives a unique writing style that looks professional and flawless. You are able to refill it once the ink is done, which is simple to do. The ink refills are easy to attain and are affordable, as well as the nibs which are interchangeable. Overall my friend is very satisfied with this fountain pen. They said it's their new favorite and one they use more often than their other pens. Its a bit pricey , but the quality is impeccable, so it's worth it. This brass fountain pen is a sight to behold! It is absolutely gorgeous, heavy, durable, and just really excellent quality overall. It is very comfortable in the hand, and the added weight makes it easy for me to control. The patina it has developed over the last few months gives it a charming character. I purchased universal cartridges for it, and they fit great, providing nice ink flow. That said, the nib does not function as well as some of my far less expensive fountain pens right out of the gate. It's a bit scratchy to write with, but I've been able to mitigate that issue by testing out various papers and toying a bit with the way I hold it. Overall, I would still order it again because it is a very nice pen to have in my collection and would make a really lovely gift. Read more
