This is a Sumo Juicer! It rapidly juiced 8 cups of orange juice no problem without having to clean it.Same for lemon juice. The motor is powerful. It takes just 2 to 3 seconds to juice 1/2 of my extra large Ponderosa lemons. If you have lemon and orange trees as we do here in Arizona this is totally worth the money. Also, cleaning is so much simpler than with the smaller ones. With the one I had, after a couple of cups I would have to stop and drain out the pulp and seeds. Not so with this bad boy. Also, you just have to rinse off the top part which easily comes apart. The base is a pretty heavy stainless steel so there is no jumping around. Oh and lastly, having two sizes of the juicer thingies is great because my lemons are huge and my oranges are small. I gave my Electrolux to Goodwill. Read more

We really enjoy using this for making lemonades and orange or citrus juices. It’s specifically designed for citrus fruits, as noted in the manual, so it’s not ideal for other types of juices. We were tired of the plastic machines. We sprang for the extra cost of this machine hoping to have it last for more years than we will be able to use one.... As we hoped, it is a heavy duty machine. The weight helps keep it on the counter without wandering or tipping over. It is very powerfull and showed no sign of bogging down under the load of pushing/squeezing the item being juiced against the Reamer. We used it for about 150 limes and it worked flawlessly. I was disappointed that only 2 reamers were provided when they advise of 3 in the Listing. However, the smaller reamer worked fine with the limes we juiced with some physical squeezing and rotation. In this respect the juicers we have had in the past also require manipulation of the lime to obtain maximum juice extraction. The larger reamer looks very capable of doing oranges and with a little more hand "wobbling" grapefruits. I like the "running all the time" feature after using it. The on-off switch is covered by a rubber type seal that will protect it from liquid intrusion. Cleanup was about as easy as it gets. The reamer and cover and pulp guard all remove easily and being plastic, wash off very cleanly. The metal housing of the machine under the pulp guard/juice catcher remained clean and thus required virtually no cleaning. If you can afford it, go for it!! Read more

Worked as expected for a little while and then the motor died. From the greasy juice coming thru the bottom I assume it just isn't sealed properly at all and allowed juice inside. Not sure, and for something to fail so quickly after light use it's certainly not worth tearing apart to take a deeper dive. Would definitely recommend looking elsewhere. Read more

The media could not be loaded. The simplicity and powerful motor should give it a long life. Improvements for a future generation would be an additional wider head for grapefruits. And make them out of stainless steel instead of plastic. Read more
