This is a nice typical crew neck sweater. Not heavyweight and not lightweight. Definitely soft! Especially after being fluffed in the dryer for 15 minutes. Designed and represented to be oversized! I ordered a small and I can tell that it fits, but is designed to have extra room and be a bit baggy as a casual style. I like this! This is a fun look sometimes! Very relaxed and relaxing. Great with jeans (or even leggings). And because it's not too thick, will wear well under jackets and coats and look amazing with cold season scarves. It is what it is. Sometimes it's nice just to throw on a sweater, jeans, and some sneakers (I happen to have the perfect sneakers that are cream and this sage green so I got lucky!). Would also look good with boots or lace up army style boots that are popular these days. So while it is versatile - but versatile within the casual lane. The price reflects what it is and I would definitely pay this price to buy another in a different color. I consider this item a staple for any fall and winter wardrobe. It's the kind of thing you will grab on any typical cool to cold day. It's very well constructed and the style is as represented. The only difference I found is that it's more rounded than straight. It looks on the model like it's sort of straight cut but it really is more of a sweater cut than a shirt cut if that makes sense. I happen to like what it looks like but folks should be aware it's not a straight down cut. Pick your favorite color and order it with my full recommendation! I think it would make a nice gift for the every woman who likes a good striped sweater on hand. Most of us do! I should reiterate that when it arrived it was a bit wrinkled so I fluffed it for 15 minutes in the dryer. It also felt much softer after doing so, so don't judge it right out of the shrink wrap.
