Not all silicone golf marking clips are made alike! I've had a different version than this-- almost the exact same packaging and exact same ball marker quality: sturdier, the enamel and colors were vivid and sharp. This one is better because of its stronger magnet. The other one worked, but there's a time when the magnet would pop off my hat with a thicker brim. On this one, the magnet stayed, and even when nudged, the clip did not budge. It comes with 4 fairly standard-sized ball markers -- use one or all four, or give away the other 3; either way, it's such a good value for under $25, especially when other companies are charging about that price for one ball marker and no magnetic clip. They can also hold my other round-type ball markers or the ones that you can buy at Pro Shops when you visit a new course. The enamel designs are fun but I do wish they come up with different designs in the future; or at least several to choose from that would make up the four pack. As mentioned these are more versatile because I can set the magnetic clip on the edge of my sleeve or hat or even skirt waist. The silicone is soft so it doesn't irritate my skin, and the size isn't too big or bulky on any part of my golf attire. For something as mundane as a golf clip holder, these stand out for having more qualities than attaching the clip to something relatively flat and sturdy. Read more
These are a great set of novelty golf ball markers. The set of 4 don't really seem to go together (2 are patriotic flags and an eagle and the other two are a weed leaf and a 4 leaf cover). Regardless the quality is quite good. The images are sharp and well made. The colors are nice and bright. The magnets are incredibly strong. There is a silicon hat clip that is magnetic, one for each marker. Because of the strong magnets, these markers are incredibly easy to use. They come in a nice box of you are planning to gift them. I had to throw away a white $40 Callaway hat this year because the metal clip ball marker that I was using rusted and basically stained the hat permanently. I tried everything to get the stain out but it wouldn't budge. So I've been reluctant to get another metal 'pinch' clip like that. When I saw these I was like, wait! That looks like it's coated and won't stain material. And man, these little guys are slick! The clip being magnetized itself is just awesome, meaning no thick metal clip on the brim of my hat that's distracting. They're also low profile and soft so I fully moved them from the brim of my hats to the back and I don't feel the clip at all. LOVE IT! Out of the way and convenient. And the magnets are STRONG so when I pull my hat off they don't budge. My only negative feedback is the color palette. Meaning, I would prefer a white and black and red etc.. but I imagine the colors are more pastel because of them being rubber? I guess, I don't know. Maybe these are meant for women. Don't care. I used these hat clips on the golf course, and they worked exactly as described. The magnetic grip is really strong—they stayed securely in place on my hat through an entire round without slipping or falling off. I also found a second use for them as a bookmark for my greens book, which worked surprisingly well! This is a fun set of golf ball markers and I have just the perfect friends to share them with. The magnets feel like they are strong enough to keep them in place on the hat as well as the maker in place. They have nice sharp colors and they seem like they are worth the price. So many times I've used other ball markers on my that have fallen off and lost because of their weak magnets. NOT THESE! The markers have a very high quality finished surface, the bottoms of which are an attractive copper-like material, and the magnets on these things is STRONG! These markers will not leave their holders except when you want them too. The holders themselves are a soft, flexible rubber and I like the color combinations they included in this set. Recommended!
