My 18 year old was having difficutly reaching on her back and I noticed matting. I would grab the matt at the base while pulling the rest of the fur and you don't want to pull the skin (cats have thin skin). I’ve been using a regular comb and it causes irritation and sometimes bleeding. This worked very well to remove flakes and then easy to get the flakes out of your hair since the tines are so close together. No irritation. Read more

If you have dandruff and can't get it out just buy this. The comb is so strong with the bristles so close the dandruff has no choice but to come out. Well worth it. Eaasy to clean. I just run it under the sink. Tender heads be careful. Read more

This stainless steel dandruff comb does help remove flakes and feels sturdy in the hand. The fine teeth glide through hair fairly well, but it can be uncomfortable on sensitive scalps if you press too hard. It’s also a bit small for thick or long hair, so it takes a few extra passes to get through. Useful for occasional grooming, but not a miracle fix for dandruff. Read more
