Got this on sale for ~$65, great value. Looks great with the keycaps it comes with. I bought and replaced the keycaps with my own for a different look. The software is generic and not very intuitive, but it works as it should. I got the Gateron switches, and I was unsure of them since there weren't reviews for them. I couldn't find them anywhere on the internet. It seems these switches are unique to this keyboard. I'm very happy with these switches, though. They're super-light linear switches, great for gaming. They're also very quiet and smooth. I believe these switches are hot-swappable with other Gateron switches if that's something you're interested in. All in all, super great value. You'll struggle to find a hall effect keyboard for the same value. Read more

I had a Keychron K3 optical brown keyboard (about the same price as this) before. The K3's base was built with higher quality materials, but the Yunzii's plastic base has good heft and still feels reasonably good -- I think it's mostly just a limitation of building with plastic. The key caps are solid, they're similar to the K3's (which are of good quality). Where this keyboard really shines is in the switches -- they're phenomenal. The actuation force is perfect: light enough to be pressed without fatiguing the fingers but heavy enough to assist with not bottoming out the keys. I've noticed a small, but appreciable improvement in responsiveness/latency when I play games. My typing speed has also went up a bit -- though I do make more typing errors (I just need to practice more with the low actuation keys). The keyboard sounds great (moderate noise level) and the software is decent. Overall, this keyboard is not as good as a Wooting or high end Keychron (the really expensive ones), but it's functionally 98% there, and build-quality wise about 70% there. Considering that it's 1/3-1/2 the price, it's probably one of the best value keyboards on the market as of 10/2024. I am very happy with my purchase. Read more

I'm usually not a fan of very clicky and rigid mechanical keyboards, I've used membrane ones for most my life because they always felt smoother and weren't very loud but membranes are usually less responsive and worse for gaming. This feels like a perfect middle ground. I got the Gateron Silky switches because I don't like loud keyboards. this one sounds very clean without being clicky or annoying. And the keys are extremely responsive without being over-sensitive (An issue I've had with mechanicals) Typing might be harder at first but you'll get used to it quickly. Also a little bonus is that you don't need any software to change RGB or to use shortcuts, there's a manual with a bunch of shortcuts to change RGB pattern and color (There is a lotttttt of options if you care for RGB) Also a +1 for volume knob and function keys. Edit: A new software update has been released and now the keyboard properly saves and also now includes snap tap. Customer service was great and addressed the issue quickly. The keyboard is good, bearable sound, rapid trigger is good, typing experience is decent, and build quality is amazing. However, there is a big flaw and I hope they fix it which is the inability to manually save your settings in the software. Every-time I restart my pc my settings reset and creating a profile does next to nothing as it just creates a factory profile disguised as a custom profile and never actually saves. The software is too buggy which ruins the entirety of this keyboard. Read more

I have a stack of keyboards on a shelf in my quest to find the perfect keyboard that's right for me. This just might be it. It looks fantastic, it feels great, and the clicks are satisfying. The key layout is just about perfect for my preferences. I love the volume knob. I've never had a keyboard with one before and I don't know how I've gone so long without it. I love that I was able to fine-tune the sensitivity of the keys. The only bummer is that I had to boot up my Windows laptop to set it. Luckily the settings save when I move the keyboard back to my Linux machine. Overall I'm very pleased with this keyboard. If YUNZII ever makes a split hall effect keyboard with this layout, I'll be all over it. Read more

For the price you’re paying this keyboard is pretty amazing. You’re getting Hall effects switches that work and sound wonderfully. When using the game mode on these it is super sensitive so be careful and make sure to adjust it as needed. The rgb works great and it’s fully customizable. Great keyboard for the price. Read more
