I gave two stars because the material is nice and the product is assembled well...but that was about as far as the compliments can do. I can easily bridge an XL/XXL sizing with most athleisure wear...but these pants did not do it for me. The waist is high and the elastic at the waistline is small and pinches. There is a band before the pleating starts, but it doesn't do any favors. The pleating is very strange. There is a flat front over the crotch area and the pleats fold in at the hip joint. Unless you are rail thin, they spread and gap, making the pants very unflattering. They sit no where near your natural waist. The legs do fall well to my feet, but I can't even pair these with a loose top because the pleats will create bulges in the top. Definitely a no go for me. Read more

Let me start with the things I love about these pants. The high waist is flattering to the figure. The fabric is very soft, pleasant, comfy, and stretchy. The style is versatile and can be worn for a somewhat dressy occasion, as well as suitable for lounging around the house because they're so comfortable. What I dislike is how short they are. I'm 5'9", but rarely have issues with pant length. They're not so short that I won't wear them in public, but it will make me feel a bit self-conscious. The second issue is that the fabric is see-through, which will necessitate finding briefs that don't give themselves away, or wearing a tunic that covers the hips. I hate to use them as pajama bottoms only, but that might be they're best use. Lastly, the listing price of $39.90 is steep considering the issues mentioned above. These pants are elegant and flattering, but I do not feel the price is justified. Read more
