The pro outweighs the con, I will buy this again
This bra has one huge pro, which is why I gave it 5 stars, but also a somewhat less important, but very common con. If you need to order a large size sports bra, there are 2 things that make 99% of them nonstarters: 1. The ‘pull over’ with no closures. If you can wear one like this, you probably don’t need one. 2. A picture of a bra with 2 hooks and eyes on the malnourished model, but when you get it, it has four because you sized up considerably from a ‘training bra’ (this archaic term has nothing to do with fitness btw). Well, I purchased this one in XL, and much to my delight, it was thoughtfully designed to have two hooks and eyes, no matter how far you size up! This also means no chafing under your arms. Are you listening competitors? Turning a sportsbra into a horse’s harness without regard to the wearer ought to be punishable by making them wear it. Okay, so yes there’s also that downside. Elastic straps. Using elastic is a cost cutting measure used by manufacturers that also shortens the life of the garment. I had to give up on my last favorite sports bra because the construction became so shoddy, the closures weren’t even sewn in correctly. However, it had sold padded straps and when made correctly in the past, that bra lasted a long long time. I am just being honest here, but since the manufacturer will never read this, it isn’t worth deducting a star or three because of cheap manufacture.
