These lights are fantastic. My garage door light rarely works. I decided to purchase these motion-detected lights that easily screwed into existing ceiling light sockets. They are bright, and now when my garage door opens, I'm no longer getting out into a dark garage. They stay on for a few minutes, but when they go off if you wave your hand it comes back on. I put these inside my walk-in cooler which is set at about 35 degrees F. They have no problem in that environment. I have one in each isle, replacing my older high output florescent fixtures. These light up the entire isle from side to side. Having switched to standard size bulb sockets in there is a nice bonus. These bulbs have a standard base, so they'll work in any socket that accepts normal bulbs. I no longer have to spend thirty bucks a bulb for those special florescent bulbs, and these work so much better and shed bright light throughout the whole isle. I've only had them for a couple months, so I can't say how long they'll last, but so far they've been excellent. Read more

Bought this LED lamp for my garage and powered it from the lightbulb socket of my garage door opener. I had to mount and wire a separate lamp pedestal to fit the lamp because the lamp's wings won't allow it to mount on my opener's light sockets. This lamp is terrific. It's well put together and solid. It's color temp is listed at 6000K (pretty white-no warmth), and it lists a brightness level of 6000 lumens, and it's every bit of that. This lamp's wattage rating is only 60 watts, but it really puts out a lot of light while also not being very big. I like it so much that I'm going to install another one on the other side of my opener. Money well spent for me. Thanks. :-) Read more
