1) There were NO written instructions, so you have to figure out where what goes with what. Mine was easy because of the 22 mm faucet threads. Didn't use most of the "hardware" - but it was fairly easy to see how it should go together. 2) No leaks to speak of, although rotating the device to redirect the spray IS screwing the device on/off your faucet threads, which are deep. 3) The outlet is NOT an aerated delivery! It is a fine round set of openings for a spray, which works well for me. But you will get a surprise if you turn it up to your face and turn it on! (and you'll have water everywhere!) Now the good: the filtering system is spot-on! (See photo) I was simply amazed at what it trapped - and our water is very pure, coming from Appalachian mountain sources from pristine fresh water lakes. The pipes to this bathroom are some 50 years old, but are US-made copper. It also surprised me that I could actually taste a difference at this filtered tap and others that are fed with the highly vaunted new plastic (trexate? - whatever) pipe, which should really have NO taste effects. I bought extra filters, which are reasonably priced. This bath faucet runs probably a gallon a day through it, and the photo is after about 2.5 months of use - so, what: 75 gallons throughput?, and changing the filter is just unscrewing the clear plastic cap over the filter (which allows you to see when it needs changing), pulling out the old filter, putting a new one in, and reinstalling the cap. I was shocked when the filter that came out was placed next to a new one! Wow! Again - our water here is so pure we seldom use distilled water even in our automobile service (especially in older applications before all the sensitive new cooling stuff on tricky, picky new cars!). This was a disappointing purchase, as I could not actually use it for my sink. I don't really blame this product too much for that as I have learned my sink has non-standard sizing for the faucet. I bought several adapters from Home Depot to try and make it fit, but no luck. Despite the issue being mainly with my faucet, I am disappointing by this product. It comes with many adapters and advertises it ability to work with most sizes. I bought it with confidence and two weeks of headaches before giving up ensued. It seems like a good product. I would recommend it if you know it will work with your sink, but I cant give it a higher rating because I couldn't make it work with my sink. Read more
