I love this tape so much! I have used it in my house for a year now and am so impressed with how it has held up. I have a 70 lb lab puppy that gets the zoomies and jumps around and slides across the floor and my rugs still stay in place. There is a lot of tape for the price you pay. The tape is super simple to apply and remove. I did figure out a neat removal trick. Take a small piece of the tape and roll it into a ball, place the ball on the corner of the tape on the floor and use it to pull the tape up. Works like a charm! Highly recommend! Read more

I used this in a bedroom for an occupant who wanted wall-to-wall carpet, but there was a new vinyl floor that I didn't want to ruin with tacks. This worked great. I went through two full rolls for a 13×12 room. I put one layer directly on the vinyl and a carpet pad (roll from Home Depot) on top of that, then put another layer of tape on top of the carpet pad and laid the carpet (cut from Home Depot) on that. Not fun or easy lining everything up right the first time, but the tape was very strong right away. (I walked on it before peeling the paper back to make sure it adhered as much as possible to the surface.) We had movers come in a few hours after laying this all down, and the carpet didn't shift at all while moving all the furniture in. We've since pushed furniture around and the carpet hasn't bunched or moved. Aside from having to work in sections and line everything up painstakingly correct since we only had one shot once the material hit the tape, the only other slightly tricky part was peeling the paper off the tape. Sometimes it came off easy, sometimes not. I only had to peel a small piece off the vinyl in the end, and it came up with no damage. I didn't use the hairdryer trick to get it loose first, but will def do that when the carpet comes out. Get more tape than you think you'll need if you go this route. Pretty good deal for a 150+ sq ft carpet - can't even see the seams. $180 carpet + $100 carpet pad + 2 rolls of tape and about 2-3 hours to lay out. Read more

So far so good. Super sticky but easy to work with. My roommate uses a wheelchair so the push friction caused our front door rug to shift. I'll followup if it changes but right now I have good hopes that my 5 rating will remain. Read more

This stuff is the bomb! We have hard wood floors and ceramic tile floors. I have sued the no skid tapes. This stuff stays put on rugs and floors. With 3 dogs, 3 men, country life in and out it works great. Area rugs do not move or slide and doorway rugs stay put! Love this tape. When cutting had hard time with scissors sticking to tape and making mayhem of it but dealt with it! haha Read more

This double-sided rug tape is exactly what I needed to keep my area rugs and carpets in place. The 2-inch width provides great coverage, and the 30-yard roll lasts a long time, making it perfect for multiple projects. Whether it’s securing rugs on hardwood floors or keeping outdoor carpets from shifting, this tape does the job incredibly well. The adhesive is heavy-duty, holding rugs firmly in place without damaging the floor when removed. It’s versatile enough for use on different surfaces, and I love that it’s easy to reposition or remove without leaving residue. This tape works for everything from small area rugs to larger carpets, and it’s held up great even in high-traffic areas. For anyone looking for a reliable, multi-purpose rug tape that’s both strong and easy to work with, I highly recommend this product! Read more

This tape is no joke. I keep going back to it because every other one doesn’t hold up. Read more

I got a 12x20 rag rug on Marketplace. This thing is ginormous. and the one thing I didn't think of was that its going on top of hard floors, so being a floppy rug I needed to find a good solution. Double sided carpet tape!!! I used it on the entire perimeter and then some strips perpendicular to the weave. Now, the rug stays in place, no one trips on it, and my Bobsweep robot vacuum can do his job :) I am really glad I got the big roll, I used the whole thing. Read more
