Comfortable but side seam friction is a worry

It's comfortable so that is great, but unfortunately the side seam on the front is rubbing on my clothes and I hear a "shhh shhh" as my legs lightly touch it, which means I'll soon wear holes in my bike shorts of leggings. Boo! I wish the top part came down the side more so the seam would be out of the way (and the softer top part would be on the sides more). So it's nice and cushiony but the seam is concerning.
