As soon as you take these out of the package, you can tell by touching them that they are going to be comfortable. They are flowy without clinging to your skin. The material is thin enough to keep you cool without being too thin. I love that the waist has a draw string as well as the ankles. This makes sure you are comfortable and secure while wearing. The pants are so absolutely soft, but there is ruching at the bottom of the pockets which creates a bunching effects that weighs the pocket down and it brushes against my leg in an unpleasant way. The legs are very wide and long, so I step on the hems a lot, and when sleeping the legs of the pants go up to almost my thighs while I move in my sleep. So, overall I think if you're tall, and don't mind pockets kind of rubbing against your leg and the pants rolling up your legs while you sleep, these are absolutely the pants for you. They definitely feel nicer than I expected for being mostly polyester, they don’t feel like cheap SHEIN quality. The fit is what I expected and they’re cozy enough to chill in all day. The exterior pockets look a little strange to me, probably just not used to wearing stuff like this. And the hem around the waistband is also very…different. I don’t take it! Looking at the size chart, the Small looked to be closer to US Medium, and the style and photos look really baggy, so maybe bigger - guessed and ordered the Small and expected it to fit much larger. The Small delivered fit fine as a US standard Large, but the style (baggy and comfortably loose) would be great for a Medium... or really loose as a US Small. Lots of stretch in the waist. Lots of length in the legs and there's a tie for the ankle to adjust to fit at the ankle (or leave loose to have a longer open look.) Depending on how loose and baggy you may decide that you want to size down for less loose. (There's a lot extra going on if a Large sized body can wear the Small...) Hands down my favorite comfy pants purchase of the year. These are oversize and baggy which i adore. Personally i dont care for strings, so i removed the waistband string and those around the ankles which are an option to allow for a tighter pull for a jogger bottoms feel at the ankle should one be so inclined for that look/feel. Options are great, i just like mine baggy, with the overall appearance of a clean look and clean lines, so I removed all three strings, and these pants fit and look amazing that way for me.
