I should have checked the size chart because even though I usually order XXL (for size 16-18), in this case, it should have been XL. So the XXL pants are very baggy on me, although I’m not complaining because they are super comfortable that way. What I liked about these pants: I love the elasticized waist with drawstring, since my waist is small relative to my hips and butt, so often pants will only fit one or the other properly. I love it that the pants have six pockets, all quite deep (although unfortunately none of them with zippers or buttons, though). Importantly, the pants are machine-washable. As a general rule, nylon isn’t waterproof or quick-drying, as the seller claims these pants are. However, the pants are certainly highly water-resistant; when I performed an experiment by running water over the pants, the water ran right off. Given that these pants are super comfortable, have many functional pockets and are water-resistant if not water-proof, these pants would be great for hiking/camping. I also like all of the colors the pants come in. What I didn’t like: I had a different impression of what the material would be like from the photos. I thought the pants would feel more cloth-like, but the 100% nylon material is more like wearing thick rain pants. Although the material is still comfortable, it’s stiff and the pants rustle constantly. I also couldn’t get the pants to cinch very tightly around the ankles, especially on one pant leg. Presumably the drawstring on that leg is defective, which is a quality issue, so I’m taking off one star. Still, for the moderate price (currently $26.99), the practicality and comfort of these pants make them worth the cost. Read more

These pants are so noisy I don't even want to wear them. I washed and dried them but it didn't soften them at all as I hoped. Just so much swishing sounds when you walk. They are also very baggy so while I had to get a large for my waist I wish the legs were smaller. Read more

These pants aren't normally my style, but I thought they would be great for hiking or camping.
