I love the brown color and the ribbed material. They are very warm, thick, and the fabric feels high-quality. I made the mistake of sizing up expecting they would run small, but they actually run very large. If you’re on the shorter side they’re extremely long and not flattering. The material is great and heavyweight, but the fit is just odd. They run very small! My wife always wears large, but the medium is almost too big for her. She says they’re comfortable, so that’s good. A bit of a hassle to reorder a smaller size and still haven’t found the time to return the large pair I have. I was hoping for a tight look, but even with the medium they still look a bit baggy. These pants were wide leg, ribbed, heavy material. The fabric is soft and comfortable. These are not a warm weather pant and I often ran hot in them (menopause-doesn't take much!) but I wanted them for the cold Cleveland winters. At first they fit tight in the waist which they shouldn't have because I sized up, but I folded the waist over and it wasn't as uncomfortable. A bit form fitting in the rear but loose and long in the leg. I REALLY loved the fact that they were long! My height is in my legs and most pants are fall short on me. The down side to these pants, and the reason for the 2 stars, is how much they shrunk when I washed them. The first time they were fine and I didn't notice a difference, but the second time they shrunk significantly. They no longer reach the floor and the flare is gone. The waist is so tight I can no longer tolerate them. So, for those of you who hate shrinkage, skip these. If they kept their original size and shape, they would have been my favorite. Read more

These black ribbed pants were not exactly what I expected, but I like them. They are a heavy sweater weight fabric and will be quite warm. They have a fairly wide flare leg. The care tag says wash separately, but recommends professional dry cleaning - obviously dry cleaning is not happening for a pair of sweater pants for me. They need a longer sweater, dress, or top to wear over them, as they would not be attractive with a tucked in shirt. Because I have a bit of a tummy pouch, I decided to order a size larger than normal. I regret this because they are a little baggy in the seat and the stretch waist would have fit fine anyway. I love the color of the brown and the ribbed material. They are very warm and thick. I wish I wouldn’t have sized up, I expected these to run small but they do NOT. I am confident I could pull these off in a medium. Surprisingly they run large, very large, and they are not so flattering if you are short. I am 5’2/5’3 and these babies are looong on me. My short torso doesn’t help either. So they could be great if you size down and have long legs and live in a cold climate, but in my case I look like I’m wearing pants that aren’t sure if they want to be cute cozy casual or frumpy dumpy sweatpants.
