I originally bought one of these to protect my bathroom counter from the heat of a straightener. It works great! I liked it so much, I bought a second one to use with my traveling straightener. The straightener slides into the pouch and stores in a suitcase or bag or tote. I do let it cool a little before putting it in the pouch but it's still warm when I do and I haven't had any issues as a result. I've thought about buying these for daughters and granddaughters since they all use straighteners and help to protect their vanity surfaces. It's a plus that they have several color choices to choose from. Read more
