I loved how this looked on the model, but when it came in the mail, the color was more of a blush pink than a beige or tan. I loved the flowers but the color was disappointing so I decided to return it. It did fit nicely though and was true to size. It was not see through and the material was nice, not cheaply made. The only other issue is the waist band. I only tried it on for about 3 minutes and after taking it off, the elastic waist band was all twisted. It took 10 minutes to get it straight again. Read more

The skirt I received is almost as described....with a few minor observations: 1. The static coming right out of the package - it could probably power up a string of christmas lights. I need to decide if I want to keep it and find a way to de-static it. 2. The pleats are small and tightly sewn, and could give the illusion of a bulkier shape. 3. The color says floral-black.....I took that to mean black and white, which is what I was looking for....BUT....the flowers actually have some light blue, green, and yellow in them and overall the background color looks more of a dark navy than black. Not in a bad way though. Other notes for consideration: material is light and soft with a bit of a sway; not see through; on a 5'7" frame it comes down to mid-calf; the elastic waist band is wide and straight, not warped, and the XXL fit comfortably without causing any chub pinch/spillover; I don't care about the pockets, but they are there. Keeping because of the nice style and fit, however the fabric has a smell and creases from shipping that did not come out after washing. Material only has pattern on one side, thin. Sizing is consistent however I would’ve expected more quality from the price of this skirt. Read more

The material is good, not see through, and the skirt washes and wears easily and well, the pleats stay in, and the waist band is tight without being constrictive. One can easily bend over, etc., with this waist band. I wear a belt over the waist band as I don't like the look of the waist band with a tucked in shirt. I'm 5'2" and the skirt fits me at about 3" above my ankle so I didn't need to get it hemmed as I have other skirts. I'm a heavy woman and the skirt is slimming on me. The pleating doesn't plump up the look of my hips, rather, the pleats lay smoothly over the hip and with the elastic waist band it gives me a good figure. I like these skirts and own three now. Mine are flowered and I wish I could get a plain black, etc., and if one comes available and in my size I'll likely buy it. I find these skirts don't wrinkle much when wearing them. Do wash these skirts in cold water, delicate, and dry on very low heat. I do this and then if still a little damp I hang them up on a skirt hanger and let them finish by air drying. There's no shrinkage so don't depend on it when ordering. Lastly, the price is reasonable, the quality is acceptable (material good and no hanging strings or puckered seams), and they serve well.
