I love the dress! I'm a size 16 and the XL fit perfectly. I'm 5'2" and the length was just above my knee, so it might be too short if you're tall. The fabric seems high quality, although I haven't washed it yet, so time will tell. The fabric is very soft and it's a medium weight, which is good for fall and winter.
