I SERIOUSLY LOVE THESE!
I fell in love with this sweater with my first one, which was the black one. I purchased it in my usual size of XL, then when I went to buy my next in the Army green color, the XL wasn't available, so I went with L, and it fit great. Since then, I have ordered 5 more in the L size, for a total of 7 and then today I went ahead and ordered 2 more. So, I am telling you these are fantastic and beautiful sweaters. I feel great in all of them, even the white and the apricot (which is a slightly darker cream color), as lighter colors on top usually make me feel like a marshmallow, but I feel pretty in them. For reference I am 5'4", 195 lbs, 44" bust, 40" waist, and 45" hip. So, I am right at the cusp of the L and XL size. I did have to return the dark brown sweater as the L seemed to be a bit snug, so not sure if this was just a faulty label job or if it was cut incorrectly, so I just reordered it in the XL size - the XL came in and it feels more like the L should have fit, so you might want order on the side of caution and size up in that color only. I deal with hot flashes quite a bit and so sweaters are not necessarily my friend, but these sweaters are just perfect. They feel great to the touch as well as while wearing. They are soft and light weight so great if you tend to overheat like I do. There is stretch to the fabric as you would expect with a sweater material. The fabric feels like great quality and as long as you take care of it should last for many years. I have already washed (in cold) and layed flat to dry the black one and I have not noticed any shrinking and perhaps the material feels even softer. I didn't see any pilling, but it does seem slightly fuzzier, so perhaps hand washing would be the best option. Because I am so smitten with these sweaters I will definitely say they are a great value for the money, but I have found that I was able to get just about all that I wanted on a sale price as I was able to go between the two different sizes. I feel that I have to mention this, on the green, black and white striped version, I can see the white stitching thread at the underarm seam. I do not usually put my arms up all the way, so I probably won't do anything about it, as I know that it is just because they sewed this sweater with all white thread and this is a seam that does get pulled and tugged at. If I think it will bother me in the future, I will use black thread and tighten up that seam a bit, so it no longer is an issue. At first, I thought the seam was coming loose, but it isn't. Also to note that on all the sweaters I ordered that have stripes, all the stripes line up which is something that doesn't usually happen so these just feel like even better quality. The red one is almost a true red, perhaps slightly towards a candy apple red, it is a shade of red I am very happy with, and I am a red color snob. The A-Brown color looks like it should be an orangish-brown on my screen, but in real life I would call it more of a caramel color. Read more
