Great pens, sturdy. Love these and will mod them later on. They are also a great tactical pen stand-in when you can't have a tactical pen. Will say that you can feel the weight after using these. For notes they are great but if you had to write an 1000 word essay your fingers would for sure hurt afterwards. I'd stick with a Bic for that kind of writing. Read more

This pen is extremely well constructed, punching well above its price point in build quality. The steel barrel is 1 cm in diameter with walls that are approximately 1.5 mm thick, and the click mechanism is surprisingly weighty with a satisfying click. In the hand, the pen is heavy enough to be comfortable, but so heavy that it encourages writing fatigue. The writing experience with the stock refill, however, leaves much to be desired. Scratchy, Skippy, and requiring more force than expected to write smoothly as well as an extended break-in time. The only redeeming quality the stock refill has is that is rather fine point for a standard ball point, but I don't feel that this makes up for its other shortfalls. Thankfully, it's compatible with most standard size refills, including Fisher's pressurized tanks. The knurled grip was new for me, and a very pleasant surprise in terms of comfort, grip, and long-term usability. Overall, this is a very good pen that is held back from excellence by the poor quality of its ink cartridge. I can only really recommend it if you have a good refill handy or intend to buy one - but with a better refill, this pen is one of my new favorites. Read more
