Reading the reviews before purchasing, I noticed quite a few low rated ones, some stating along with photos that they were coming apart. The reviews seemed to be coming from the C color in particular. I liked the sage color and did not see any of these remarks on it, so I decided to purchase 3 of them in different sizes. I have used and washed them for a couple of months now and they still look new. No signs of the yarn coming out. I used a front loading washer and hung them to dry. These are not much more than your basic bath mat. I expected more based on the description, which emphasizes that they're absorbent, soft, etc. as well as many of the reviews. They're not really anything special beyond the nice visual design, but I wanted a comfortable bath mat to stand on when I get ready in the morning every day, not just something that looks cute. The microfiber mats I have are way more soft and absorbent though not glitzy or pretty. I guess I will just have to use this one because I can't justify buying another mat but I would definitely not buy it again. Read more
