Great tea chest. I was concerned about the wood being too lightweight and scratching easily, but it is surprisingly heavy-duty. I love that the inner dividers can allow for different size tea bags as the individual Republic of Tea packs are too large for the smaller size. The inner dividers are made of particle board which was the only thing I didn’t really like, but they do the job so I didn’t deduct stars for this. Really nice caddy. Finnish plywood tops and bottoms make it super solid. Wonderful caddy to self decorate and customize. MDF dividers do the job and fit well but I will replace them with real wood. Pine sides/well fitted/very secure with plenty of hardware where it needs to be. Stay open hinges are a nice touch but be easy on them. All in all PERFECT for my needs. I love this tea box! You can tell it was thoughtfully made and designed. The hinges are brilliant and hold the lid open. The wood is very nice and smells good. The pockets/dividers are perfectly designed for your typical Bigalow, Tazo,, Twining, etc. Tea bags. I was so frustrated with my boxes of tea everywhere...Then I tried to look for a decent tea box at a variety stores and they were all very cheaply made and disappointing in their design function. I saw this and read the reviews and I ordered it. I was not disappointed. The wood is not cheap and cracker thin but rather thick and the hinges look to be metal not plastic. It's really great! The Zen Earth Inspired White Tea Chest is everything I expected! With clean lines and sturdy hinges/clasp, it houses at least 160 tea bags. The dividers keep different varieties separate and easily viewed. I love the simple design with the tea leaf on top that make it a pretty piece without fuss. I’m the past, I’ve purchased tea storage containers that were too small and didn’t feel practical. I looked and found these tea boxes. I first looked at the dimensions and was relieved it was the perfect size for my cabinet. I received the package that came nicely shipped to prevent damage to the wood. The craftsmanship was incredible. I was able to empty out my prior tea storage and still have plenty of room for my other selections. It also included a card insert with tea temperature recommendations. I was so excited, I bought a second one to match my esthetic.
