Once you open the box you can’t re-close it; there’s no slot and tab to hold it closed. Just an FYI. When you tear open the packet, the hole where the Matcha comes out is very small, allowing you to control the pour (see photo). Make sure not to heat your water more than 175°F so that you don’t burn the Matcha and give it a bitter taste. I recommend using an electric water kettle with temperature settings you can select, if you have one available. Otherwise, I would heat the water on the stove and use a food-safe thermometer to wait until it cools to the proper temperature before adding to the Matcha. Ceremonial grade Matcha is the highest grade as far as I understand, and should be the least bitter of all the different grades of Matcha. However, with my sensitive palate, even this ceremonial grade match is slightly bitter to me. I had another brand ceremonial grade Matcha before that I felt was a little less bitter, but it’s been a while since I had it, so I can’t do a side-by-side comparison. I like to add a little bit of Stevia to my Matcha to make it slightly sweet and help counter the slight bitter taste. I know that it’s not traditionally sweetened like that (unless perhaps in a Matcha latte), but I like it that way. There are a variety of health benefits to drinking fresh organic Matcha, so if you’re interested in it for the health benefits, you can do some research on that. Read more

I’ve been trying out these matcha sticks for a few days, and they’ve already become a small daily ritual I look forward to. The convenience of the single-serve packets is a game changer—no more scooping powder and worrying about measurements. I just tear one open, whisk it into hot water, and I’ve got a perfectly portioned cup every time. The powder dissolves smoothly without clumps, and the color is that bright, fresh green that instantly tells you it’s high quality. Taste-wise, this matcha is incredibly smooth with no bitterness at all. It has that grassy, slightly creamy umami flavor that makes ceremonial-grade matcha so enjoyable. I’ve had it both plain and as a latte with oat milk, and both ways were delicious. I also appreciate that it gives me steady energy and focus without the jittery crash I usually get from coffee. The packaging feels thoughtful too—each stick is sealed well, and I like knowing they’re nitrogen-flushed to keep the powder fresh. It’s easy to toss a few in my bag for work or travel, and I don’t have to worry about carrying a bulky tin. While the price per serving is a little higher than buying matcha in a jar, the convenience and freshness make it worth it for me. Overall, this is a high-quality matcha that delivers both flavor and practicality, and I’ll definitely be keeping a box on hand. Read more
I’ve been taking these matcha sticks to mix in my water bottle on-the-go. They provide a quick energy boost, especially driving back from work. The convenient pre-sealed 1.5g stick can be poured directly into a cup or bottle, without a mess. The powder is emerald green and dissolves really easily in my cold water bottle without any clumping. I make sure to pour slowly through the small opening in the stick. It has a very classic aroma with a nice umami flavor that is not much bitter at all. I love that it is organic and has no added sugar. It is a solid value for pure ceremonial grade tea that I can make anywhere. When I am home, I take the time to prepare it traditionally, by sifting, pouring boiling water over it with slow stirring. Overall, the sticks are great for quality matcha on-the-go. The box contains 20 convenient, single-serve sticks. Read more

I hav to say I’m a huge fan of matcha frappes. I love to make the matcha and blend it up with some ice and a tad bit of milk and creamer. Definitely tastes great and you get to make as much or as little as you want. Read more
I don't usually drink Matcha but I really enjoyed these packets. I have tried both a Matcha latte and mixing the powder directly into a water bottle. Making the Matcha latte is very simple and easy as was the quick way. The tea it self tasted great and fresh, though the directions are slightly confusing and misleading as they don't mention mixing in a water bottle. I also love how handy these packets are-just throw it in your bag and no measuring required. I would say these packets are worth the money since its about 1 dollar per matcha serving/cup when the store's matcha cup cost about 3-5 dollars each. Read more

This is working wonderfully in my morning smoothies! I don't find it adds any bitterness and I do think it adds a brightness and deeper flavor to my smoothies. I like I can get the benefits of the green tea easily and high quality. I did try it as a pour and go with some hot water and oat milk, and it made a quick afternoon pick me up with no issues (as in, you don't need the fancy whisk). This is meant to be a quick, easy, and high quality powder that dissolves/mixes easily. Read more
Not a regular consumer of green tea although I have had it a few times. The product is bright and smells really fresh so definitely a quality product, that is also organic that is very important to me, I really do like the individual dosing of the single use packs, both for freshness, and for metering the amount needed. I looked of what 80ml equates to so added the equivalent 1/3 cup of hot water from my hot water dispenser which measures 179 degrees. The taste was very fresh and I felt the effects of the caffeine right away so an easy alternative to making a morning cup of coffee, and potentially healthier as well. I did try it strait, but decided to add a few drops of agave sweetener and put a few tablespoons of oat milk in another glass container and microwaved to bring it up to temperate then added to drink. It tasted better to me this way and I still enjoyed the fresh taste of the quality ground tea leaves. Read more
