Don’t lean back. I’m 125 on a cheat day and the back piece broke when I lean back. Could have been user error or cheap quality but for the price I didn’t care much. It has a little lean but it’s not unbearable. Seats hard so if your not blessed with backside prepare for numb butt after sitting for a few hours. Again for the price, it’s worth tolerating. I actually bought this stool to use as a drum throne, which is not what it’s typically used for, but for the price and what appeared to be thick padding and a wide range of height adjustment, it was honestly a much better deal than offered on any drum stool. I am very happy with it, super easy to put together, the padding is definitely nice and thick and the hydraulic up and down adjustment of the height is effortless and works great. The wheels roll nice, even though I don’t need it to while playing drums, I just put a carpet beneath it and that issue was instantly solved. If you are using this to roll on any moderate to thick carpet, just be aware that it’s not going to do well and would need very short carpet, similar to indoor/outdoor carpet or any type of office carpet would work well. I tried to assemble the chair and unfortunately it has a plastic piece under the chair that snapped as I sat on it. I weigh 140 pounds so it's unlikely that it was anything to do with that. Seemed like a good chair but I would say it's not good quality. I also couldn't assemble the back piece to the seat as the screw was too small to stay in place. I ordered it to prepare for my business so I had just opened it...I also unfortunately missed my window to return it (my own fault). If you order this chair make sure to try and assemble it right away or you waste your money. Read more

Chair was super easy to put together. HOWEVER, it’s supposed to come with 4 small screws, 2 medium screws, and 2 long screws. I received 5 small screws (and two were fused together.. no getting them apart), 3 mediums, and 3 long. It wasn’t a huge issue. I was able to use one of the medium screws for my one missing small screw (since two were fused together) and all was fine. It sits taller than I was expecting when it’s all the way down and gets REALLY tall when it’s all the way up. Not the most comfortable stool I’ve used but it’s good for the price!
