Bought this for my 17-year old cat. It has the faux lamb skin on it that I can’t find anywhere anymore. Her present bed is older than she is but, being the stubborn little witch she is (lol), she still refuses to sleep in her new bed! I’ll give it some time. This bed is pretty big (I bought the small bed)! It’s very soft and fluffy. I took the advice of other posters here and put it in my dryer on low to fluff it out quicker. It worked! There was no weird smell to it out of the box and packaging. The color is a very nice navy blue. There was no assembly required. I really feel most cats (except mine, of course) would love this bed. As I already stated, I’ll give it awhile to see if she’ll use it, and if not, I will gift it to my son’s cat because I know she’ll use it! This is a nice and soft pet bed. Machine washable and big enough for a large cat or a small dog. It gets a bit lumpy after washing, but my cat doesn’t seem to mind. Although most of the time he prefers to sleep on my bed lol! Read more
