I used to have a reverse osmosis filter under my kitchen sink, but changing the filters on that became too much of a hassle and too expensive. I'm glad I discovered the ZeroWater system, because it does a great job, changing the filters is trivial, and most importantly for my needs, it's the only tabletop filtering system I found that removes arsenic. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a filtering system. Read more

I attached the Ai overview about the water droplets inside new packaging. I also tested after filling and meter was at ZERO. Been using for years and the best water you can buy. AI Overview** It is completely normal and harmless for a new ZeroWater filter to have water droplets inside the sealed bag. This is a result of the final manufacturing step, where the carbon media inside the filter is rinsed with purified water before packaging. Here's why this moisture is no cause for concern: A normal part of the process. ZeroWater deliberately rinses the filter's contents before sealing it. This is a quality assurance measure to prepare the filter and minimize carbon dust, meaning you do not need to soak it before use. Condensation. The small amount of water left behind from the final rinse can cause condensation to form inside the plastic wrapping, which appears as tiny water droplets. This is similar to how condensation forms inside any sealed container when there's a temperature difference. The filter is sealed and safe. The presence of moisture is not an indication that the filter is used, damaged, or defective. Because it is sealed immediately after rinsing, the moisture is completely harmless. Read more

We use these filters and I think they are better than some other brands, however they will become foul smelling sometimes before they register any number on the testing stick. As soon as we notice that fishy smell, we replace the filter. Usually, that's every month. I feel like they used to last longer. It may be that the water here is more polluted than it used to be. Or, maybe the filters aren't made as well. Not sure, but, we haven't found anything better to replace them with. Read more
