Efficient and Effective, I recommend getting this version of Zero water

ZrnieMay 28, 2023✓ Verified purchase

Like others I live in an area that had it's town water contaminated. Even now after they said it is clear and clean I still feel like I have to double and triple check. Zero water is definitely an improvement on the taste of my water. I prefer this type of filtration system because I feel like it actually works. The difference between this and Brita filter for me is not even close. I know Zero water has different models but I kinda prefer using this, especially since it has a better method for getting the random particles or whatever out of it. We did multiple tests comparing this to boiling water, and against just cold tap water and each time Zero water tastes better. I'm using this especially on my coffee machine water. I personally think I taste the difference. More so if you get a cheaper brand coffee like a store brand from a grocery store instead of beans from a better source. UPDATE - March 2025 I decided to measure my pH, TDS, EC, Salinity, and Temperature of my tap water (straight from the sink). I also decided to measure this by the water filtration method we are using (Zero Water - pitcher) I did a couple of scenarios as in my baseline tap water cup. The second one was a current cup filled from a previous filter change. This means it had multiple refills of the water and our current pitcher being used. So probably like 3-7 pitchers already drank. The other test was from a new separate zero water pitcher that has had only one single drain using all 64ozs. I've labeled it as SINK, PITCHER A & PITCHER B each of the pitchers filters had just been changed and I wanted to have a separate comparison for each. I do want to see this tested again after the filter is ready to be renewed (as Zero water suggests it at 006ppm) I really am surprised that the basic tester Zero water gives you is actually good enough just to show you how much bad or good it is working. I did notice that the tested I used which had the ability to test multiple ways was by far a better method and way more reliable andrs accurate in my opinion. Below is the list of tests I have found for my own personal experience and test. I suggest you check it out yourself. Especially when you talk about the difference between the SINK water and the water from the SHOWER/Bathroom Sink. It'll open up your eyes as to why the bathroom was irritating the SKIN for some of the people in my household. I would recommend getting the AquSoft tester & the Zero water filter for drinking. Aside from reverse osmosis filters, this is hands down the best option for those on a budget and are very interested in their own health. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= CUP-1 = SINK (TAP WATER) Zero Water Tester probe 325 567ppm 75.2° 549ppm 74.1° 567ppm 73.7° 1156us/cm 73.4° 1155us/cm 73.2° 1151us/cm 73.2° 0.05% Salinity 73.0° 0.05% Salinity 73.0° 0.05% Salinity 73.0° 7.91ph 73.0° 7.79ph 73.0° 7.74ph 73.0° -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= CUP-2 = ZERO Pitcher A Zero Water Tester probe 000 001ppm 74.3 004ppm 74.8° 002ppm 75.0° 006us/cm 75.2° 007us/cm 75.3° 011 75.3° 000% Salinty 75.5° 000% Salinity 75.5° 000% Salinity 76.5° 6.01ph 75.5° 5.86ph 75.5° 5.78ph 75.5° -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= CUP-3 = ZERO Pitcher B Zero Water Tester probe 000 000ppm 75.0° 000ppm 75.0° 000ppm 74.8° 000us/cm 74.8° 000us/cm 74.8° 000us/cm 74.8° 000% Salinty 74.8° 000% Salinity 74.8° 000% Salinity 74.6° 6.30ph 74.6° 6.13p 74.6° 6.07ph 74.6° Read more

Makes water perfectly pure. Everything else tastes better and lasts longer.

DaveMarch 2, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Hands down the best water filters you can buy. See the Project Farm review. I was going through two of these filters every 2-3 weeks (running them in parallel), which was getting expensive. But our water was always undetectable on my Apera TDS meter after running through ZeroWater filters. Our tap TDS is 350. I bought an Express Water RO+UV, which lowers the tap to about 12-15 TDS, then I polish it with dual ZeroWater filters in parallel. Now they last months. I still replace them every 2 months, even though the water stays at 0 TDS the whole time. That puts me at 1 box of 12 per year. And our water is perfect. I love the taste (or lack thereof) of 0 TDS water. I use it for my distiller (for CPAP and NasalFresh MD), which never needs cleaning. Tea, coffee, and pasta have more taste because the water is so pure. And everything I put it in stays spotless. This is how you do water. Even my dogs love it. Read more

Great Water Filter

M. PharmsMarch 3, 2026✓ Verified purchase

This is the only filter thar removes lead, or at least reduces it. Brita doesn't. This is my go to water filter from now on. The water tastes cleaner and the price of the filter is worth it! Read more

Filters defective.

Kevin DeFrancoMarch 5, 2026✓ Verified purchase

One of the few times I have been disappointed. The filters did not perform as well as usual on my last purchase. 2 were defective, did not produce clean water at all ,the water stayed dark and cloudy in the pitcher had to throw them out and one filter lasted only half the time before water would not go into the pitcher and the water tasted foul. First time that happened over several purchases of otherwise reliable filters. I really need these because of the poor quality of water in my area. Read more

These units have defects

AMRJanuary 28, 2026✓ Verified purchase

These seem to have manufacturing defects in them, still appear to work just fine. The filter head is installed crooked in the filter body. Never had issues in my 10 years of using ZeroWater, but I see its been taken over by Culligan now Read more
