Dress is cute and color is a very pretty, rich wine color. It falls a bit shorter than a typical midi, more at/below the knee, but is still quite pretty only. Only real negative is the fabric is a very light fabric that doesn’t want to fall as full as it looks in the picture and it is not lined to help keep it away from the body. Very cute simple dress. Fabric is lightweight but double lined so I didn’t feel it was too sheer as white colored items can be sometimes. This dress was very comfortable and a perfect midi length. I sized up to a large due to needing for maternity but I believe had I gotten my ‘regular’ size of a medium it would still have been just as comfortable and fit just as well due to the smocked top. As someone who has gone through a lot of clothes and been trying to build that perfect wardrobe, this piece is my DREAM dress. WOW! The fit is fantastic, the material is a good thickness that gives it strength, it's cleanly made, the top fits like a dream with the skirt flaring out beautifully, there is nothing wrong with it. To me, this is the PERFECT dress. But seriously, buy this dress. Worth. Every. Penny. UPDATE! WITH PHOTOS! (Jan 2024 - or 6 months after first dress arrived) I may or may not have gotten not only the light purple, but the white as well. The purple did not have XS available so I got the S and have not really noticed a difference in the size. Both fit extremely well! I think the elasticity of the dresses lend well to not needing to match your size because it will just stretch to you. As for the white dress, WOW!! Not see through at all, just the same soft material as the colored dresses, AND as a second white lining underneath for added see-through-protection. This brand has officially become my go-to dresses for any season! And yes, will most likely get more colors in the future (this is all I wear now). Read more
