It provides just the right amount of warmth for colder weather, yet it's not so thick that it can't be worn in the summer. I've washed it twice: air-dried it once and used the machine dryer on low the second time. There was no shrinking, although I did notice some very minor pilling—but it’s nothing significant. It's the middle of winter 2025 as I'm writing this review, but I am already wearing this sweater under winter jackets and finding it perfect for layering a casual look. The sweater is a boxy, cropped style made of a soft knit that can go in the washing machine. I normally order an X-Large, but when I saw how large the arms looked in the photos I opted to go one size down and I'm glad I did. Even in a Large, the sweater is loose on me. Not so loose it doesn't look good. It's just not a slim fit. Nor is the sweater too short like a lot of the cropped styles being introduced right now. For me, at a height of 5'4", the sweater covers my waste and reaches my hips. Perfect. Is this an amazing sweater? No, but it's a great, basic to throw on when you are making a quick run to the store or spending an evening watching movies with friends at home. Read more

I got the ZESICA short sleeve sweater in red size medium. I am 5' and 125 pounds. The fit is perfect! The sweater is absolutely beautiful. I love the relaxed fit of the sweater, it is not fitted at all. It is very soft and comfortable, not itchy. The red is gorgeous! The sweater is lightweight but still provides some warmth. I wore it with black pants and it was beautiful. I love that it hits me right below the waist and isn't too long. I think it would be beautiful with jeans and boots or with a skirt. This is a high quality sweater that is absolutely worth the price. It has become a new staple item in my wardrobe. I definitely plan to order at least one more in a different color, maybe two more! I'd say this is more of a hybrid than an actual crop. The bottom of it reaches the top of my pants. It almost looks like it was a regular sweater that shrunk in the dryer. It is heavier and thicker than a regular tshirt, but lightweight as far as sweaters go. It's soft, and breathable. It does seem to be nice quality. The stitching is tight.
