Some found this sweater scratchy, I however did not. But I did wash on the handwashing (or gentle) setting with mild fabric softener and dry on low for 20 minutes before wearing. I ironed on the low with very low steam to get a few wrinkles out from the packaging. Overall, this was a great purchase for the price, extremely flattering. I got many compliments!
