I got this for a Vine product review for my mom. She has been looking for a replacement scale for the old one which finally died. This one is very well made and works great. You turn it on once and it stays on to use. Then goes to sleep mode so it does not waste batteries. When you step on it later it comes back on. It has also proven accurate and very well made. She has size 7 feet and I have 8 and we are both able to stand on it properly. It is not a huge platform so I cannot speak to anyone with size 11+ feet but your toes might hang off. My old bathroom scale died after years of daily use. This one is slim, unobtrusive, and attractive. Unlike the last one, which had to be set on the floor prior to each use, I only have to step on this one to activate it. I like it. It's also easy to read--as long as I have my glasses on. This scale worked for the first couple of weeks and now it's showing wrong results. There is no way to adjust it because is a digital scale. Another product I've wasted money on. I do not recommend this scale at all. It stopped working into the third week. Very disappointed because now I can't return it. This scale is pretty close to being spot on.my wife and I both had doctors appointments on the same day. when we got home we used the scale and I was a 1 pound heavier and she was 1 pound lighter. Most scales of this type will weigh you differently depending on you position on the scale. The price is very close to what they charge in the big box stores for the same type of scale. Read more

Overall, everything is adequate and what you'd expect. Two negative criticisms, though. First, it takes a few seconds for the weight to stop jumping up and down and to settle on the final determination. Second, it lacks something I think is pretty important... a display lock. If I'm holding something like a box because I want to weigh it, and I can't see the display, it's helpful if the weight reading remains on the display for a few seconds after stepping off so that you can still see it before it turns the display off. As it is, you have to contort yourself to try and see it while it's showing the weight before you step off or have someone else look at it while you're on it. The moment you step off, it's blank. I got scale this to replace my old school mechanical scale I've had forever. This scale is easy to use and looks great. My wife weighed herself as soon as she came back from the Doctor's office, and they were only a half pound off. Close enough for me. I highly recommend it. Read more

Our scale suddenly stopped working so this is the replacement scale. It has a small footprint and the glass is thinner than our previous one. It works fine and since the glass is thin it is light to pick up. We are a smaller frame family so the size is not an issue but it could be for large feet. The clear glass and black trim looks clean and simple. The weight appears to be accurate (much to my dismay). It is disappointing that the display is not backlit. It’s difficult to read the numbers if the room is not well lit. This Zewa scale require a watch battery the size of a quarter. It’s disappointing because our old scale used a AAA battery which is more common to have around the house. You also won’t be able to use rechargeable batteries. Overall it gets 3 stars for being functional, but I docked it because of the poor display and the battery required. Read more
