Great case that even comes with extra stuff. Comparing it to the 8Bitdo, this one is a minuscule smaller which makes the controller fit tighter and the top triggers may be a little pressed (but not much more). The inner net on the ZHI is a lighter and a bit looser (not a problem). Material seems identical on both, a hard fabric. Also the ZHI has a double zipper and a handle. Between the 2 I prefer the ZHI since it’s a more “controller rounded shape” (compared to the squareish from the 8Bitdo), the joystick extras, the double zipper and the handle makes a huge difference when moving around. This is a good little case. The outer shell is pretty hard and isn't as easily indented as many other controller cases. The interior is pretty basic, and doesn't have any special lining, unfortunately. There is a mesh pocket to store small things in, but it won't store much without pressing down on your controller. For being a more universal case, it actually fits my Xbox Series S/X controller pretty snugly (where it matters, specifically). My controller does have thin grips on it (it's mostly a thin plastic shell). The top of the case doesn't feel like it's pressing into the joysticks at all when closed. This is a kit and comes with more than just the case. It comes with some thumbgrips (they are very generic), some joystick shaft protectors, a small double-ended brush, a basic cleaning cloth, and a magic sponge. These are very useful pieces to have. The magic sponge, especially, is something I haven't seen come with a controller case kit yet. Overall, this is a very affordable kit. Most cases in the lower range of quality come at this price. This case is more solid in protection, helps with preventative and maintenance aspects of storing controllers, and costs just as much as the others. It's definitely worth grabbing if you need a controller case. It's not perfect by any means, but it's very comfortable for the price, and the shell hardness in the case (which is difficult to find in good quality for this price level) is worth it. I personally feel it'll protect from outside forces and drops. I do wish it came with at least a thin liner, though. I've marked a star off for that, as the outer protection doesn't mean much if the controller is still banging up against the inside. I'd say for most accurate rating: 4.5/5 So here's my reason: it's honestly a great case. I am very happy they made it as ps5 controllers are expensive and I really don't want my baby harmed. The problem: there is no way your honestly fitting everything in this case. So, yes, your controller will fit in this case just fine and survives great on trips. However, the case comes with a few extras. A cleaning sponge and some little thing to clean and work on your controller if you need. I love that it comes with these as I want to be able to take care of my baby. However, they do not fit in the case while the controller is in it. I guess I should say they do fit, but...the sponge, which is this white sponge that is not one of those super soft ones, has just enough hardness that when it's pressing into my controller...I'm not happy about that. I'll add, everything I open the case the little things are all over the case. Granted, it's only like two things but...considering there is a holder to put these in and they aren't staying, that's a design issue. So...overall, I think two changes need to be done to improve this case. 1. Maybe some slightly enlarged version of the case with padding added for the space And 2. That pocket maybe needs to be more like a zipped pocket. Honestly for travel, as this is a good case, I'd recommend taking out the white sponge if your not going to need it during that trip.
