Overall this is a good product, and I am keeping it for walks. It does not fit as well as I was hoping it would. I have it adjusted to the smallest settings and it is still pretty loose. I typically walk at least 3.5 miles a day at lunch, but if time allows I go for 5. I used this weighted vest the first time yesterday and it definitely made my walk more challenging. I highly recommend if you’re looking to challenge yourself. I specifically wanted it to grow leg muscle but the longer I walked I realized it was requiring that I engage core muscles and it was working my back muscles by just holding my back straight to support the weight. It fits comfortably. No chafing, which I was worried about. Did have a little bit of a chemical smell when I first unpacked it but it went away quickly. Super easy to put on and has reflective stripes if you want to wear it at night. The weight options available are suitable for all fitness levels. I'm a 5'4" woman and purchased the black, 12lb vest. It fits perfectly with the straps fully tightened. This is so well constructed with the weight evenly distributed throughout the vest and nicely padded shoulders, and front and back sides of the vest aren't too close to rub against the skin during the natural swing of the arms. It's also designed to lay from shoulder to mid back with nice quality elastic areas to hug the sides when tightened. It also seems like the back mesh pocket, which I'm sure is for a cell phone, could be used for small added weight pouches as a next step before getting a truly heavier vest. I have only used this for 2 days in my exercise routine and then also working around the house. Right now I have a walking pad workout and then I use a mini trampoline for "trampoline sprints sets". I started using the vest immediately when I received it and I can really tell this vest will be such a positive addition to my everyday life and in helping my workout effectiveness.
