I just made my first batch of sunscreen using this zinc oxide powder. Be sure to put on a painting mask when using it. I used 1/2 cup coconut oil, 1/2 cup Shea butter melted in a double boiler. Take off heat and add 2 tablespoons of zinc oxide powder. Once it I was completely cool, I cut open four vitamin E capsules and squeezed the E into the sunscreen mixture. Stir well and transfer to a jar. The sunscreen feels thick and creamy going on. Read more
