Its very warm and cozy and will likely hold up well with proper wear- that said, like wool- the sweater pills so care should be taken. I wore on a short trip to Colorado and it was the only sweater I had hopping on and off airplanes and being super busy I noticed it pilled up quickly on the chest/front from my crossbody bag. the zipper won't even open!! beautiful packaging, useful info inserts, good looking sweater, came fully zipped. unfortunately, I was unable to get the thing unzipped at the bottom, zipped easily all the way down, but then very stuck, suspect it is the double zip mechanism. would eliminate this feature and use nice single direction zipper. had to return. can't speak to sizing as I was unable to even try it on. felt somewhat heavy.
