I saw a documentary Re manufacturing Zippo lighters and commented about how I (a non-smoker) would like to have one. I got my first Zippo from my kids, on Father's Day! It is a GREAT American Product! Countless Americans have carried these in civilian use and off to war! Works SO much better than the crap disposable gas lighters! About half my family would be offended the other half are veterans, I am a 48 year plus smoker who loves his Zippo lighters, they in display cabinets and I take them out, swap the insert from lighter I was using, then put old lighter in its place in displays and use the next one for a week or two, then get a different one, all the lighters in display cases have new inserts. Top row is Christian influence, below that are military types. The only problem I have had with new Zippos is that the flint spring/screw is always too tight and have to use screwdriver, but today actually had to use needle nose pliers on one.
