I was buying these inexpensive earbuds as a sort of sacrificial pair so I wouldn't have to risk damaging my more expensive options, but these are way better than expected in almost every way. The call quality is loud and clear and music quality is really good and even the bass is deep if you press the earbuds firmly into your ear canal. The charging case's touchscreen controls are easy to use, but are lower resolution than your phone's screen and not as consistently responsive (requiring two swipes sometimes), but all of the earbud features can be accessed by various taps and holds on the earbuds themselves, so I rarely look at the case (only when I want to see battery life). Speaking of battery life, it's really long! I went on a 12 mile bike ride and listed to GPS directions and music the entire time and hadn't even exhausted 10% of the battery life. The only two minor issues I've noticed so far are the difficulty in removing the buds from the case - the pop open lid seems to be in the way of gaining a good grip on them, but it gets easier as you figure out the one way to twist your fingers that provides some grip and the other is the amount of wind noise the earbuds make while riding my bike. Even with the noise cancelation on, the shape of the portion of the earbuds that protrudes from the ear makes an amazing amount of wind noise - it reminds me of a cable stretched across a strong wind - it's unusually noisy and, of course gets louder the faster you ride. at anything over 25 mph, you'll want to remove them from your ears. It's just a function of how much of the earbud protrudes from your ear and the sort of squared edge of the shaft that foils the wind loudly. During rides on cold days where I wear thermal ear protection, these are completely silent as you'd expect. Customer Service 10/5: First I would like to mention how great customer service is! I received an email regarding my review, asking for feedback on the product (I mentioned how the plastic was uncomfortable for me) and they have forwarded my concerns to their factory! I talked to Lily and she was extremely nice and responded in a timely manner! They really do care about customer feedback and making things right :)!! I really hope they change the plastic on the earbuds soon! About the product: Material 3/5: It feels like semi-hollow hard plastic. The material is better on the bottom than the top. It feels like you can accidentally bend the hinge on the back if you leave it in your pocket. The screen doesn’t feel like it could crack as easily. It felt very sturdy for a screen! Hearing 1/5 (personally) 4/5 (for other people): It’s actually really loud on the lowest setting, which sucks because my ears are sensitive and I don’t want to ruin my hearing as I get older. I have Apple AirPods, and they are almost 1/3 lower in terms of sound. In terms of hearing safety, it’s not good. I really value my hearing as I get older, so I try my best to keep it at the lowest setting, but these are too loud for me in a silent room. If you are used to higher dbs or using headphones/earbuds around the middle of the volume bar, then these are just fine. I uploaded some photos and the lowest setting for Apple so u can compare the hearing levels in terms of safety. I ended up returning them but I’m hoping the factory will change if the design I can get them! Features 5/5: I love the equalizer options they have! I can quickly change the vibe of a song without having to go into Spotify to change it. It is extremely convenient! They also have a camera feature, which is really cool and works better than using your camera timer! They have a timer and a 24-hour clock and have different noise cancellation options! Comfort 2/5: I don’t recommend it for people with smaller ear holes. These started to hurt after a few hours (2+) and were uncomfortable. Bought this item because I needed new headphones to listen to at my night job where I work outside. The service team for these earbuds are fantastic. I had originally written a review expressing some concerns for these earbuds and they have completely refunded me and then some. They are very kind and efficient. Some positives- the case is nicely customizable, different AMC modes to personalize how soundproof your listening is, and the find my earphones mode has been helpful in my crowded dorm room when they get lost. Though I will still express my opinions about these in good faith and honesty. These earbuds are not bad, hold a charge, and have a relatively good audio quality. Though if you are a person that likes to put your earbud in your pocket, be warned that because the earbuds only require one tap to start the media, you May find that the heat from you will start the audio and cause progress on music or audiobooks to be lost.
