Or, add padding only as needed using 1/4" self-adhesive foam (available on Amazon, such as 'Foam Adhesive Rubber Sheet，12 x 118 x 1/4 Inch Adhesive Insulation Neoprene Foam') to make it a truly form-to-your-body bag. Depending on the color you choose, you can make it almost invisible to thieves, it is so ordinary-looking (which is important if you are carrying a laptop or an expensive camera). There are side pockets for small water bottle/folding umbrella, an external pocket for immediate needs, a sized internal pocket for your wallet or passport, an external flapover pocket for things you need often but still secured by a zipper. Come to think of it, whoever designed this bag must have done a good bit of thinking to get a ton of features in. However, this bag is not totally perfect. I'm happy with it. Great value for the cost. It'll hold up to daily use well. It's as described, heavy material with bound seams, pockets, working snap. The zippers and strap adjuster buckle are heavy duty plastic. The pocket against the back is visibly sewn onto the back, which might be a deal breaker for some people. The strap is long and wide. Make sure you're ready to wash it when it arrives. It comes infested with the most horrifying "scent" sachet I've ever encountered. It washes easy, and a little shaping while it dries does the job.
