I normally wear an XL size in motorcycle gloves and the Vendor recommended size here was also XL so I ordered XL and these fit on my hands very well. These gloves are a fair price for what they are ~ not too warm, very comfortable, and provide dexterous movement. That said, the palm of the hand and wrist feel more vulnerable than I expected. Advertised as 'racing' but these are too light weight for the task of protecting skin in an asphalt racing crash, especially if sliding in a direction that tries to pull the glove off and/or causes the wrist to bend. The palm only has extra padding for about half of this area. The extra padding does not protect the thumb or its flesh on the palm with anything but the glove's base layer. I can wear these for casual 3 season rides and perhaps fast bicycle riding on soft surfaces. I will not be wearing these when I intend to ride over 25 MPH on asphalt or rugged terrain which is something I frequently do (many downhill roads and trails here in the High Sierras). What I like ~ • Attractive "race ready" aesthetic. • Fit is very good • Stripes on two fingers of each hand are headlight reflective = stylish safety. • Very easy to manipulate levers, etc. • Not too warm ~ lots of fabric ventilation and even some perforated leather. What I don't like ~ • In spite of the low price, my expectations were still closer to 'leather motorcycle racing gloves' but these are closer to 'motorcycle gloves with leather'. It is worth noting that under the technical details the material is listed as polyester. I don't think the word 'racing' should be used here. • When my hand is folded forward, there is little to no protection for the back side of my wrist. Gloves are an important part of motorcycle safety gear. I like thicker, full leather gloves. If I fall, I expect to naturally try to brace myself palm down whether I want to or not. I’m not sure the leather on the palm would protect on a slide. They fit nicely and maybe a little tight, but gloves stretch (especially if you get them wet).
