This is not at all what I expected it to be. We were out of town and saw an absolutely beautiful one in a store. My daughter fell in love with it and looked absolutely gorgeous in it. We didn't buy that one, but wanted to get her one for Christmas so bought this one, which isn't anything like the one we saw in a store. This one is cheaply made, thin fabric, not as soft and cozy, and just didn't hang right on her, or anybody for that matter. The color was also "off." Not the deep color it was supposed to be, but an ugly cross between burgundy and mahogany. We returned it immediately and will not be looking for something else. Read more

This was really pretty, but I had some issues with the quality. It was really soft and smelled fine out of the box. I guess the cut was a little weird for me… like making it sit right was a little bit of a challenge but when it did sit right, it was really pretty. The biggest drawback for me was that the fur was coming out. I got the brown and the black and this was an issue for both options so I feel like it’s just not the best quality… especially for $60. The positives: Nice item, fun, and very comfy. Fits with extra room for a size XL. Can't wait for it to get cold out so I can wear it. The negatives: Be careful when ordering the color. I selected Plain White, which was actually a cream color. I am also going to be extra careful with the wash because the fuzzy part of the item sheds a little. The shipping experience: Per Amazon, the shipment was supposed to arrive within a few days, which led me to believe that this was an Amazon product. In fact, shipping was about $15 extra. On top of that, the item took almost a month to arrive. Amazon needs to do better in communicating the shipment origination and expectations for third party products. I was unsure of how it would arrive but it was just perfect. In some reviews it said it was short, but I found it to be a very chic length. For reference, I am 5’9 and medium build and it reached below my hips, as photographed. The color was bright and the fur didn’t look cheap but I found it looked even better after running hands through it and some light blow drying. The only thing was the clip came off at the end of the night but I was able to sew it back on easily. The cape has arm holes to put arms through but I preferred the way it looked without putting my arms through. Overall, solid purchase for a winter wedding as it kept me warm all night! Read more
